I’m absolutely delighted with this make-up remover, because I have very sensitive skin – I sometimes get spots, but I also suffer from atopic eczema – so I have to choose my make-up removers very carefully. I used Sebamed for many years – it was quite decent – but Cerave really took me by surprise and I can’t praise it highly enough. It doesn’t dry out or irritate the skin at all; it removes make-up effectively without stinging, even in the areas where I have eczema, and leaves my skin feeling lovely and silky. The texture is quite gel-like (like soap or shampoo) and it doesn’t lather at all, but I don’t see that as a problem – you only need a tiny amount (one pump) and it removes make-up beautifully from the whole face. I bought it to try it out, but next time I’ll go straight for the largest pack and I might even try some other products, though I’m very cautious about that because of my eczema.
