comfortable and functional
despite the manufacturer's recommendation, it is stored deflated by the seller (which makes perfect sense with regard to the dimensions), but then it is not quite so "self-inflating" - it needs to be inflated and left inflated for some time, then stored unfolded with the valve open. Otherwise, it's just an inflatable cushion.
