I'm not writing a review until a quarter of a year after purchase, when I've already practiced pressing. My findings:
1/ The total time to make juice from three apples and half a kilo of carrots plus washing the juicer already takes me less than 10 minutes. Repeatedly measured. When washing, I wash the juicer parts over a large sieve. Everything stays on it and doesn't clog my sink.
2/ The websites say that a screw juicer squeezes more juice than a centrifugal juicer. It's not true. Manufacturers don't even brag about it. I measured. For some fruits/vegetables I found the centrifugal one better, for others the auger one. But the differences were barely a few percent.
3/* Why buy a slow-running screw juicer then? The juice from it clearly has a much better taste, and noticeably so: -) 4/ The extracted juice will keep in a closed container in the fridge until the next day without losing its taste. According to expert articles, under these conditions there is no significant decrease in vitamins. It does not contain air bubbles. I found that the vitamin C content is supposedly only decreasing by 2% per day.
5/ Did I find any disadvantage? One yes, the auger juicer is not suitable for very soft fruit. It turns more to mush, but doesn't squeeze much.
