I don't know what to make of this watch. I bought them for my son with the understanding that they have IP67 protection. But they don't actually have protection, do they? The manufacturer states -( Waterproofness: IP67. The watch meets IP67 water resistance certification, making it able to withstand accidental contact with water. It is not recommended to use them when bathing and showering. ) That sentence alone is striking. And to make matters worse, the instructions clearly state - (Important notice!
Do not use the watch when bathing, showering, hot bath. Pressure or hot water
can get into the body of the watch and damage the electronics, which is not covered by the warranty.
Resistance to splash water and dust is not a permanent condition and due to normal
wear and tear may reduce the resistance. Liquid damage is not covered
warranty because it is not legally possible to determine how the product has been used.
To prevent liquid from entering the device, it is necessary to check the correct attachment
the SIM card cover on the watch. The device is not intended for use during water sports,
swimming, diving, showering or sauna. They must not be exposed to pressurised water
or strong water current, such as e.g. plunging or jumping into the water. )
So IP67 clearly says - IP67 - your electronics are safe from water: IP67 means a high level of protection against water. The first digit, "6", tells us that the device is completely protected from dust and other solid objects. This means that dust has no chance of getting inside and compromising the proper functioning of the device. The second digit, "7", assures us that the device is resistant to immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for at least 30 minutes. This means you don't have to worry about using it in wet environments such as rain, beach fun or water sports with an IP67 rated device.

He's still getting acquainted with the watch. Occasionally, the translation into English hiccups, both in the watch and in the app, but it was nothing serious. The control of the watch is supposed to be intuitive, not for me, but apparently for a child. The battery lasts about 2 days. Location in the city good, outside civilization difference even 10 km.

The touch on the watch worked properly for the first hour or so. Subsequently, even after a reboot, the watch could not be set up correctly. The only thing that worked was GPS localization, which unfortunately was quite off (+/- 200m). Maybe I caught a defective piece, but CARNEO totally a good choice. I would recommend choosing a higher end product or a better brand unfortunately.

My son got a watch for children's day, he took it off before every bath because I didn't know it was waterproof. One day he kept it and after jumping into the water the watch stopped working immediately. When deciding what to do next, we found out that they were waterproof, so we sent them in for a complaint. The complaint was rejected. I don't recommend this watch, it's a sunt. The child is without a watch for the whole holiday, so it has to work on the old one, where the battery is worse.
Edit: after the rejection of the claim, we have used the repair in the form of product insurance, which we agreed when we bought the product. There is a 90-day period. the kid's probably gonna get them on Mikulas.
Working for a month
