Good idea, bad execution. The watch has very poor reception of both signals, which makes it unusable for video calls and the localization really can't be relied on. It constantly writes a weak signal even in free space. In the morning, it locates the location by WiFi of one building, during the whole class it keeps the location by WiFi 2 km away. Which for a six-year-old girl is a hell of a long way off.
But the girl has learned how to make phone calls and send voice messages, overall she is comfortable. Mostly they are really small compared to the others and they don't get in the way of the kids.
To fine-tune the application. I added the other parent for almost an hour even though the request went through x times. In the end, I had to make a new request, forcibly turn off the application at the main parent, and after turning it on, the request was just displayed.

After a long time of choosing we finally took the Carneo Buddy and so far I rate it positively. We didn't want anything big on the wrist or unnecessarily complicated to operate, and this watch pretty much delivered. My son quickly took a liking to them and can handle calls and voice messages without any problems.
I was pleasantly surprised that the video call is normally usable and the sound is not "tinny" 😀 GPS is accurate outside, in buildings it sometimes misses, but that's to be expected. I think it's quite sufficient for normal contact and keeping track of the child.
The price is favourable.
My daughter has been wearing the watch for about two months. He doesn't wear it all day, only when he goes out with friends and the watch lasts 4-5 days with this style of use. GPS is not always accurate, but for us it is more important to make phone calls, which works without any problem. The size of the watch is not as bad as I thought based on the reviews. My daughter is 6 years old, she is smaller in stature and yet the watch fits her well. It's not an exaggerated monster. The app for parents has a bunch of options for setting up the watch, which is great, and the simcard with the plan is sufficient. I was worried that we would be constantly topping up the credit, but my daughter just rings us, we call her back and she doesn't get charged for it. I've read that happens with other types of watches. I'm glad I didn't give it a bad review and we are all happy with the watch. It's great for us.
Alza takes a more reserved approach to complaints than before. For a device designed for children and their safety, I would expect significantly higher reliability. I'm afraid I don't recommend it.
