Most of the time I have to turn the volume right up to hear anything at all. At that point, the sound quality goes completely down the drain; it’s only passable up to about level 3 at most. But to be able to hear anything from around 50 km away, you need to turn the volume right up, and at that point the headphones sound just like a pair of 150 Kc headphones from the lowest price bracket. Any bass and treble will disappear completely; only the mid-range will remain. Best used for calls or spoken word. So, if you want a headset to go between two helmets, or a hands-free kit for making calls, that’s fine. If you’re looking for something to listen to whilst driving, keep looking.
