Economical and (relatively) quiet (only rapping can be heard up close)
As a pad, it fulfills the purpose of lifting the laptop to improve suction
A big plus is the spared USB port, so you can back e.g. you can plug in a mouse instead of a busy port (+ especially advantageous if your laptop has no rear ports and you don't have a 90° USB adapter, so you don't have to risk damaging today's impractically long mouse connectors)
Terribly slippery surface, laptop has to be constantly straightened after sliding
The stand (not necessary to lift the back to keep the laptop from sliding backwards) folds very easily on uneven surfaces, so I see this pad as annoying and practically unusable
