I purchased the hob as a replacement for a 2 year old Guzzanti hob that was regularly shutting down when cooking, but for now I don't know if I can be satisfied. While unpacking, I noticed that a different board arrived than what was pictured on Alza, Candy's website and other sites on the internet, but it looks much better. On the other hand, I'm not sure if this is the same product just with a different glass design or not. The board is among others. quite high and compared to my previous two induction and older ceramic hobs, some parts had problems fitting over the oven and had to be mechanically modified to fit the oven and its casing. I encounter things with the board that my pre-reviewers didn't write - it seems to me that the power fluctuates on the hotplates, although at first glance it seems to have infinite power control, but e.g. When cooking potatoes on an 1800/2000 W hob at level 8-9, the water boils and stops boiling. The most powerful 2400/2600 W cooker should be able to fry and heat the pan well, but when frying steaks I had trouble reaching a sufficient temperature even with the boost to bring the breadcrumbs to golden brown, while I also observed the cooker shutting down or being afraid to maintain a higher power. Advantage or disadvantage is the quick start of the hob to stage 5 only when selecting the hob, but this is dangerous to happen even when moving pots, pans etc. and can be switched on unintentionally, e.g. of the discarded pot. I've had the hob for one day so far, but I've already tried it out for pre-Christmas cooking and I don't know what to make of it, but if it really worked this strangely, it wouldn't be a reliable partner for a household where it is used extensively.

After less than two months, the slider function has broken down, you can only set the temperature from 1-5, the other temperature levels no longer work at all or very difficult, the timer does not work either and for all 4 hotplates.
