I believe that others would not even notice them. Overall, I am definitely satisfied with the microwave.
There is a large manual with a section in Czech, and there are many pages dedicated to the possibilities of how to defrost, cook using microwaves, or grill, including examples. I always got rid of it and then tested how it turned out for my plates or my heat-resistant glass, so that the result was absolutely perfect.
It doesn' t slide around on my fridge even when I pull the door. But even so, there is the following advantage:
There is an " opening" handle on the door. So it does not open with a button that you would press, which would theoretically allow you to move the microwave backwards on the surface if it were to slide. The door here has a handle, which you pull towards yourself when opening, in my case with your left hand, with four " regular" fingers. And with the thumb of the same hand, you are able to exert counter pressure on the microwave itself. I do it like that out of habit, even if I don' t have to, because I' m used to it from the previous microwave. And with my right hand, I manipulate the inside, pull out the lid, plate with food, etc.
With everything it can do, today in 07/2024 it comes to me almost for free, I paid about 2,300 CZK. Now it seems to me that it must be an introductory price and I would pay more for it.
A black cable to a white microwave can really surprise someone negatively. But I probably wouldn' t have noticed it if someone else hadn' t written it here. In addition, the microwave is not pure white, but the display or the window to the inside are dark, so perhaps the designer wanted it all to be balanced, i. e. dark white. In my case, the cable is not visible, it falls straight down behind the refrigerator.
The cable is quite short, maybe I' ll measure it again, but maybe it will reach me to the socket and the remaining cable won' t get tangled in any way.
In my case, the display is a little harder to read on sunny days. However, my microwave is set up in such a way that when I look at the display, the window is directly reflected there. I have to take off my glasses, or shade the display with your hand. I have not tested how the displays of other microwaves would turn out in this case, but I am struggling with this here. But the display is bad luck in this case. I tested the microwave a lot during the day over the weekend and it' s July, it' s hot.
I thought the grill would grill faster. Again, I have no comparison with other microwaves in this regard, my friend says that she has the same thing with hers and when I use a plate, it is so hot after grilling that it is absolutely impossible to pull it out with bare hands. But both meat and vegetables that I grill on regular charcoal are done much faster than under the microwave grill. And it also has to be heated for a while, the instructions recommend 4 minutes, just like you have to light charcoal, even longer. Maybe that' s why most grilling instructions are made so that you grill and microwave at the same time. I haven' t measured this exactly, but at least roughly: When I " microwaved" 1 cm slices of onion for 5 minutes, they were delicious, but when I " grilled" them, it took 4 minutes to heat up the grill + I think 13 minutes of grilling and it was still overall less done than when microwaving. That the performance of the grill in more expensive microwaves would be slightly greater? I' m not going to deal with it now, it' s grilling, maybe someday I' ll dare to grill it right on that stand, without a plate.
The grill rack sometimes falls out of that glass plate. There is no very large groove there, and there probably can' t be, then it wouldn' t wash. The plate is slightly raised on the edges, maybe it could be raised more. Then again, they could scold people who only microwave and who would take up more space in the dishwasher. And because the legs of the stand are only a few millimeters " smaller" than the plate, sometimes one of them falls next to the plate. But nothing happens, the stand still stands with the plate and food, but the glass plate probably wouldn' t spin, so you have to put it back.
