Cools adequately, the ntb heats up significantly less and is overall quieter

Solid, doesn't squeak or anything like that.
The fan bearing clicks and it's noisier overall (note that it still hums less than the ntb itself under full load without it, so it's quieter overall)
The ntb armrests are too high and press into your hand - so either a separate keyboard or a lighter ntb that won't slide off the pad without them
