A decent kettle, but advertised (on Alza) as having a mechanical flow meter, which is misleading: the flowmeter is mechanical, but its counter is electronic, i.e. after a while, you need to replace its battery. That's not exactly easy.
Easy assembly
Maintenance
Pleasant to use
Uses standard BRITA cartridges
Mechanical flowmeter is not mechanical, but mechanical-electronic
Complicated battery replacement
Relatively small volume

I didn't read far enough ahead so I only use the pitcher without filtration anymore, because the filters are a giant piece of plastic and throwing it away every month seems like crap to me.
Water tastes better
The water in the pitcher makes me drink more
Replacing a giant piece of plastic like that every month is stupid. The manufacturer should make a greener option.

Lightweight construction (even when full)

A small, charming kettle – just the right size. One advantage is the LED filter life indicator. I recommend
A lovely shade (greenish)

the kettle is definitely not made of borosilicate glass, which is incorrectly stated in the description
