I have been using the Brita kettle and filter for over 2 years. It really filters the water so that it removes the smell of chlorine from the water, and the taste of the water is milder, so by buying a filter you save a lot of money a year for bottled water - no need to buy anymore. Always pour cold water into the filter, certainly not hot or warm water. But what bothers me is the ridiculously high price in the Czech Republic - the plastic one costs over 500kč in the Czech Republic, while in Austria the same one is sold in HOFER ( something like Lidl ) for 5€, the starter set with 4 packs for 15,99€. For the price of 20€ they sell glass ones there ( Austrians don't like plastic ), which makes me regret not buying an extra kettle in Austria while I lived near the border. The price in the Czech Republic is nonsense. 4*. Minus 1* for the inflated price in the Czech Republic.
