Inaccurate instructions! I don't know how to properly remove the counter from the cap. There is a nonsensical procedure in the instructions. It says.
"Remove the BRITA Meter counter from the lid before washing in the dishwasher. Press the two tabs on each side of the BRITA Meter backwards towards the handle cover and remove it completely. " But there are definitely no "two tongues".
Apparently it's supposed to be pried out with a screwdriver somehow, but I'm afraid of damage. The manual is probably just some universal for multiple models: ( .
