Overall, it's a great product I've had the Philips 7 shaver https://www.alza.cz/philips-s7370-12-series-7000-d2922332. htm And I have to say that this shaves about 2/3 better and faster.

This is my very first electric shaver, so I didn't want to go for the Series 9 right away because I didn't really know if I would be happy with the shave at all. For years I shaved only with a razor, occasionally with manual multi-blade razors, and never thought I'd buy an electric razor, but when I got into shaving I always min. week I didn't feel like it and rather bothered with the beard, I thought I'd try something new and I have to admit I have absolutely no regrets.
I'm used to a very smooth razor shave so I wasn't expecting much from this razor. But to my surprise the shave was incredibly comfortable, without the slightest irritation and the result was almost identical. Shaving with a razor and my hard beard, there was no way I would shave again in, say, two days if I had the slightest stubble, because my skin would be terribly irritated. I tried the daily stubble with this machine and didn't even notice that I was shaving. I myself use shaving foam for comfort and have achieved great results even in places where I couldn't even get a good run with the razor because my face would fall off due to irritation.
As far as the cleaning station is concerned - amazing. The station charges the machine, cleans, disinfects, lubricates and scents it beautifully, so after each cleaning you have a machine like out of the box. I reseal the cleaning cartridge after cleaning the machine so that it doesn't evaporate and lasts longer.
Yes, refills are more expensive, but damn it, it's worth it for the feeling of a freshly cleaned machine. As a bonus, I also rate the travel case, which is sturdier and will definitely come in handy away from home.
Who hesitates or is not sure that the machine would fit him, let him min. will try, but I was in a similar position and counted on returning it, but immediately after the first shave I am sure that it will stay at home, because I have never shaved better and more comfortably in my life.

I switched after 10 years from series 3, it's just Braun quality, the original still in perfect condition as new even after so many years, I wouldn't want another one
maybe only spare cleaning cartridges, one over 100 CZK, but there are instructions on the internet for preparing your own solution
