Finally, after a month, I can calmly write a review, and an honest one at that, not like the ones from so-called users who are just happy it washes and dries and immediately write a review. :D I went for the 8 series for one simple reason: I like quality and top-of-the-range models. After xx wash cycles, various arrangements of dishes, etc., I've found it's not such a miracle after all. The door doesn't open on all programmes, and the eco programme takes 4–5 hours? Okaaay. If you don't connect the dishwasher to the hot water supply, the shortest programme runs for 1h 30min, but with a hot water connection, the dishwasher guarantees a wash time of around 30–45mins, purely because it doesn't have to heat the water itself. Nice scam :) I tried arranging the dishes in different ways so the dishwasher would always dry the bowls and plates as well as possible, but it's just not right; a quarter of the load always remains wet, and I really have tried everything. And to top it off, I even took out an extended warranty. For that money, next time I'd get a 6 series, but never an 8 again.

There was a gap of about 5 cm between the top of the dishwasher and the worktop, communication with the installers was poor and they forgot to screw in the kitchen cabinet door bracket.
