I was counting on the brand, but I'm disappointed with the controls. Add/subtract via the +/- buttons and it takes an awfully long time to "jump" to the desired performance. And it beeps too loudly for my taste. I was excited about how quickly everything would start to cook, but every once in a while I would wipe the stove because nothing was happening, then turn around and the soup would be out of the pot.
