I have an old Eta 1045 hand beater with a claimed output of 140W. When measured with a wattmeter empty, it has an input power: 1-72W, 2-88W, 3-113W. This Bosch whisk is rated at 450W. When measured with a wattmeter empty, it has an input power: 1-14W, 2-17W, 3-22W, 4-30W, 5-51W. It's not all about the stated wattage. Feeling the old one whips with more vigour and faster - higher revs. I was honestly expecting more power, on the other hand, it is still a usable device and doesn't need to be held in the hand for long whipping sessions.
