I bought the Bissell C9 Pro mainly because of our menagerie and children. We have two dogs at home, so there's no shortage of muddy paws or various accidents on the sofa. The upholstery cleaner has fantastic suction and beautifully cleaned up even dried-on food stains my son made on the armchair. I like that it's compact, not heavy, and easy to carry. I see its noisiness as a downside; you can't have a normal conversation while cleaning with it. And the dirty water tank could be a tad bigger; you have to empty it more often when cleaning the whole sofa. Overall though, it's a fantastic buy for the money, it has already saved us a lot of stress and clean covers.
