We haven' t tried steam vacuuming yet, so I can' t review it. The older Pet Pro vacuum from Bissell was lighter and had more thrust. It was noticeable not only when vacuuming dirt, but also when vacuuming water. Self-cleaning is such a nice to have, but you still have to rinse everything, take it apart, let it dry. So no extra extra help. I expected more from this vacuum cleaner.
long hairs don' t get tangled as much
a larger container for dirty water
the older Bissell Pet Pro vacuum cleaner had more thrust and vacuumed better
although it takes the hairs into the container better, but the hairs still wind up on the part that rotates with the brush. So it' s only a matter of time before it winds up inside so much that the vacuum cleaner will have to go to the service because there is no other way to get to it.: o(
