The instruction manual didn't say that after inserting the foil, both corners of the device must be squeezed a lot to get it to work. The two green buttons have two positions - transport and working. And the working one is only achieved by squeezing
I haven't figured out how to vacuum the contents of the jars through the adapter yet, it seems like it doesn't suck through the adapter but only through the foil hole
Maybe I should have bought a model with a tray and especially with a film cutter, but that's not the problem of the product
