The humidifier works well, it is audible, but it has never disturbed me - even at night. The night mode is really cool. Just refilling the water is a bit impractical - you have to take the top off, fill from the bottom and then turn it back on, almost always spilling a little water. It's not a big deal, just a little awkward. But because of this, limescale forms inside. I often used essential oils, but after a while the oil container caught mold.
