It's great for teeny-tiny pancakes. They're easy to remove, but just be careful, the centre heats up much faster on a gas hob. When pouring any kind of batter, it's better to fill the outer ones first and the middle one last. Otherwise, the middle one would be done much faster than the others. It's not so good for eggs. I can fit 3–4 size M and L eggs into the 7 sections, provided I separate the whites and yolks and then pour the whites over the yolks from a jug. But then you just have little white patties without yolks. If I try to squeeze even a size M egg into a section, it overflows everywhere; there's simply too much of it.
