They buzz slightly, personally I don't mind it, but some may have a problem with it in quiet scenes.
The first piece was faulty, the red LED did not light up after connecting power. After about half an hour it came on, but never went out. The 3D image worked, but every few seconds it would momentarily out of sync, which was distracting. The new piece after replacement was already without problems.
