I bought it because of the high Joule rating and the number of sockets. The extra USB ports are a nice bonus.
On my bedside table, I have a lamp - adapter, clock radio - adapter, qi charger - adapter, USB Cube hub, weather station - adapter. With a different manufacturer's product, everything fits into a 5-socket extension lead (with wide enough spacing between the sockets and a 'half-size' product). I wanted to replace it with this Belkin one, but I wouldn't have gained anything - it would just take up more space. I had to put the adapters in every other socket and couldn't fit anything in between.
I'm sure it's a great product, but you have to be prepared for a huge extension lead where you can't just plug anything in. I used it elsewhere.
