I have one non-stick pan. I was looking for something reasonably priced in stainless steel. This one looks pretty good to me. I wanted the lid. This one has holes and you can pour water from pasta. But the handle on the lid gets hot and a mitt is needed. The pan holder is fine, even though it's all metal. However, this has not been tested on a gas stove, where the pan may get hotter. The bottom of the pan is flat, smooth (except for the engraved inscription).
