For about a day, I struggled to find a fix for the sleep mode, but the computer immediately took care of it again after hibernation. I searched in discussions, but I had everything turned off before (wake up for updates, wake up for other devices, ACPI settings in the BIOS). Finally, Axagon has good advice on this product site. It helped me remove the second PCIe USB3 board from the PC, which added the USB ports to the back, and put this card in its place. Due to the rear USB, I had to use USB extension cables, so the external drives still had problems due to the long cables. I have ports in front now, so the other board is redundant.
USB 3 even on a regular (15 years old) motherboard
simple connection, I didn' t need any drivers for Windows 10, it worked after mounting on the board. as needed
with the Akasa AK-ICR-16 reader, I got a rich expansion of the front ports in the old cabinet.
does not need additional power supply (USB ports are powered by the reader in the front panel, so it easily reads external 2.5 “USB drives with the original cable)
after plugging in, the computer' s hibernation and hibernation stopped working, the board had to be moved to another PCIe slot
