I use this box as an external additional storage with a Samsung 980 250GB SSD to the Mac mini M1, it is permanently connected, average read / write speeds range from 750-780 MB / s, which are perfect values for an external drive and fully sufficient e. g. for video editing, backup, data transfer, etc.

I don' t know if it' s a negative, but you need to play with it a bit after sticking the paste on the SSD so that it is possible to slide the SSD into the box, but it' s a job for almost every box, so just don' t be surprised like me: -)
After installing the disc (Samsung EVO 970 1TB) and gluing the enclosed material, which has the task of transferring heat from the disc to the box structure, I found that the disc with this material does not fit in the box - the material collapses when inserted into the frame, because the whole is too high . So all I had to do was tear the mass into smaller pieces and use only a part of it in those places where it didn' t matter, so that the disc could be pushed into the box with great difficulty. Unfortunately, it probably became inevitable and the 3.5k drive died in this box after a few hours of completely DIFFICULT operation! So don' t take for me: (
