Boxing I would say is downright basic, but so far it works well.
It seems pretty low to me, but a regular HD and SSD drive will fit in it, I'd be worried about a problem with a higher drive.
Microscopic screws. The manufacturer is obviously aware of this and the package includes two extra screws in addition to the UB cable and a small screwdriver.

because the disk in it is not isolated from the aluminium chassis, it is not suitable for HDDs that would suffer from shocks during transportation. but it's perfect for SSDs
