The additional power adapter for use with 3.5" drives is priceless.
Inadequately short USB cable. It is necessary to get at least a short extension cord to get a reasonable dial, especially when using it with a laptop.
Too bad there is no USB cable on the connector - it could be replaced with a longer one.
UPDATE 4>3*: I have noticed that when working with different drives through this adapter, the SMART attribute 199 Ultra ATA CRC Error Count starts to increase. Which is quite annoying, because this value can never be reset for the lifetime of the disk.
