It is one of the few external SATA boxes that allows booting from a plugged-in drive, supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) and TRIM.

Unfortunately, TRIM support in UASP is still dependent on OS drivers and is not yet available in Linux for this product (June 2016) -- but this is not necessarily the product's fault -- although the manufacturer could add support.

Cheap plastic, doesn't mold perfectly.
