If you plan to use it to illuminate your PC desk, it will suffice. Otherwise I probably wouldn't buy it, the glue is weak and the tape doesn't hold and falls off. It must then be glued at home with double-sided tape, for example.

We checked the whole case with the product supplier, who confirmed that the controller in question is a push-button controller on a cable leading from the LED strip to the USB connector.
