it can't recover fully discharged batteries, for example, if an appliance has 4 AAA batteries, when plugged into the charger, 3/4 of the cells look like NULL and no mode will recharge them. the solution, however, is to connect such batteries for a while (a minute) to a stupid charger, which revives them and then they can be charged with this

Simple operation with short and clear instructions
I bought this charger mainly to revive the batteries (10 years old GP charger registered them, but showed an error and did not charge). Unfortunately, this charger didn't even register them.

I bought this charger for the reason that it can regenerate older batteries, I have a similar charger that charges to full and then stops charging (controlled by some chip), after a while it did not want to continue charging (anymore) older batteries, where it started to throw out that they are damaged. So I tried to buy this charger and it started charging those older batteries with no problem. I put the regen on and it charged them between 2050 - 2250 mAh without problems (they have 2500 mAh), not to full since they are older.
I've read various comments, e.g.:
- not having a backlit display: you're gonna charge it in the woods? or in a room where you can just turn on the light. If I leave it overnight, I don't need to monitor the status as it will turn itself off.
- I would like simpler instructions: In the instructions there are 8 points written simply enough, which are enough, what it means and what it does.
- It will not charge more than 2000 mAh: but it will charge;), it only shows up to 1999 mAh and above 2.00 Ah, http://prntscr.com/BTg5HgNf3Kg3 , I have not yet come across a charger that has a capacity limit for batteries, it doesn't care what capacity it charges, higher capacity = length of charge. - Someone complains that it doesn't charge to full and the charger shows less: yes the charger would need to know how much current is left in the battery, so it just charges to full capacity and shows how many mAh it has charged (to full). Tried to put on the next day to recharge the batteries :). Better to let it discharge and then charge (or test) when we want to know the current total battery capacity. - does not show how long it will charge: exactly as mentioned above, the charger would have to know what the battery capacity is, it would have to do a load test before charging.
The formula to calculate the length of charging: battery capacity × 1.4 ÷ charging current of the charger -> 2500 × 1.4 ÷ 200 = 17.5 hours, but this charger charged at a charging rate of 100 mAh -> approx. 100 mAh / hour.
Just keep track of how much the charger is charging per hour at the current charging current, but a lot depends on what condition the battery is in. Since this charger shuts itself off after charging, I wouldn't worry at all about how long it takes to charge. You just need to go and check the charging status from time to time.

The errors occurred just after the warranty period, so I am unlucky.
The numbers on the display gradually started to disappear and can only be seen at a certain angle. When inserting the battery into the charger, wait a few seconds until the basic charging program is activated and then it is possible to change it. If you are charging several batteries at the same time and you are aggressive after consuming alcohol, I recommend not drinking before charging.
