It's comfortable to sit on. It's soft (not soft like a chair, but very decent for a stool), comfortable, lightweight, and possibly portable. It will hold my 70 kg if I can stand up to it (not that I want to do that normally). The finish is such a nice plush. Be sure to choose this over the cheaper uncoated version! When initially folding, be sure to put a solid bottom underneath, which is located in the lid. Pretty luxurious for the money!
