The laptop itself is certainly great and ASUS has done well. The main benefit I see is the all-metal processing from a piece of aluminum, an excellent OLED display and high-quality speakers (probably the best for a Windows laptop, it sounds similar to the Apple MacBook PRO 16" ). With this configuration, you need to expect increased noise with the RTX4090 and Core Ultra 9. The notebook can heat up nicely on CPU+GPU, and the sound of the fans at maximum speed is really annoying. I would recommend a quality pad (llano Laptop Cooler, IETS GT500/600), just look at the reviews of the pad, which really cools by several tens of degrees °C. The OLED Display is amazing, but watch out for the static image. The disadvantage of OLED is burn-in, which causes a static image to be most visible on a gray background. like icons, bottom panel, browser bar, etc. Therefore, avoid a static image, use a screen saver or turn off the LCD after a few minutes of inactivity, or the OLED Care protection function from ASUS. Otherwise, I have nothing to complain about the laptop, maybe I would have liked a 17" or even an 18" variant that would offer even better cooling, a higher TGP for the RTX4090 at 175W, and maybe an even better battery and speakers. Larger laptops simply have an advantage and better use of internal space.
