I have some mixed feelings. The equipment, the look and the size are great, but it has its flaws. The default color settings are incredibly oversaturated. It'd burn out my retinas in no time. However, saturation and contrast cannot be changed in asus armoury crate. You need to turn on HDR (which overrides the Asus settings) and then install AMD Software, which has these settings.
Generally the problem is that the settings are in several places: Windows (old and new control panels), AMD apps, NVidia apps, Asus Armoury Crate. These applications are not always able to agree on which settings will apply. You turn on the device and the brightness is too bright, so you turn it down. The laptop goes to sleep and when it wakes up it's too dark again and you have to turn it up again. In addition, a number of settings depend on the power profile and the type of load. You'd think that since they're making the seventh generation of these laptops, it would be more refined. But in truth, there were fewer problems with the first generation than with this one.
