Very briefly: Best laptop I've had so far. Time will tell how long it will last (in terms of e.g. cooling after a few years, etc. ), but as a new one it is simply great. In a very small body only slightly larger (in one dimension) than my original 12.5" Dell, there is a larger display (thanks to the small bezels around the display) and tremendous power. The notebook can thus be used comfortably in "office PC" mode with relatively decent endurance and is perfectly portable.
However, as soon as you turn on a graphics-intensive application (whether it's a game or something else), it can switch to a mode where it delivers great performance and run current games without any problems (e.g. Cyberpunk 2077) - all of this is completely smooth without any manual configuration even on Linux (however, you need kernel 6.1 or newer, I personally recommend Fedora or Arch Linux distributions, openSuSE Thumbleweed should also work). Of course, in this mode the power and noise of the cooling of the whole machine will be fully manifested, but this can be counted on (i.e. play with headphones).
That's probably the most important thing for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the display. Furthermore, the integrated speakers were very surprising and they actually sound good and have quite a bit of "depth". The keyboard is great to type on and there is nothing to fault it. In fact, after more than a week of use, I can't think of much to fault the machine for. It's a bit disappointing that the package is not packed with a travel adapter, but only the big one, which I don't want to carry anywhere and so it stays at home under the table for gaming sessions. But actually it doesn't matter much, because despite the travel one, the laptop doesn't even provide quite full power, even on the limited gaming one (Performance) it manages to discharge slightly with the travel adapter. Those who want a travel variant (like me) can buy a 100W ROG adapter directly from Asus for some 1000 CZK (which is compared to the competition e.g. Dell actually half the price). The last thing that saddens me is that the laptop is actually offered in the Czech Republic (at least now, but it probably won't be better, because sometime in the spring it should be replaced by a new model, unfortunately with Nvidia graphics) only in two variants - the most basic, and then the most powerful even with the unnecessary AnimeMatrix display (which makes the laptop thicker and heavier).
I would appreciate at least a white option (we have 2 of these laptops at home, we wouldn't have to put stickers on them to recognize them). But better both colors and some middle option (Ryzen 9, RX 6700S, 1TB SSD, no AnimeMatrix). Otherwise, the notebook can be operated in a closed state connected to the monitor (right USB-C output with dedicated graphics), but it needs a stand that lifts the notebook and allows air access from below (here on alza can be bought for about 500 CZK). At least it works that way for me in game mode. Overall I am very satisfied - beyond expectations. I hope the laptop lasts a few years. Hopefully it won't be somehow prone to malfunctions due to the more demanding cooling.
