I was looking for a wireless mouse for my ASUS laptop. For my computer, I have all Logitech accessories because it just works, but all their wireless accessories have micro USB charging, so I decided to get this one because it has USB-C and I also figured that since it runs ASUS software I wouldn't have to install anything else and it would be a bit more memory friendly. The mouse is very easy to hold, the response is not noticeable and all buttons are programmable. The battery lasts about a week when used for about 4-5h a day, the rest of the day it is on but not used. Charging takes something between one and two hours, so in my opinion nothing tragic either. The mouse is quite easy to disassemble. In the package you get, among other things, two spare switches, which are changed by simply pulling out the old ones and inserting the new ones. And now for the negatives. The software you need to use the mouse, because it programs the buttons, lighting and installs firmware, is called ASUS Armoury Crate. It's definitely the worst software in the world. I've heard that both the Corsair iCUE and Logitech G HUB are bad (which I can confirm aren't that bad either), but this is really next level. Software crashes every five minutes and sometimes there is no other way to fix it than to restart the computer. If you happen to want to log in to your ASUS account, good luck, because the "log in" button doesn't work. Updating the peripherals themselves is even worse despite this. If you're lucky and the app doesn't crash when you hit "update", you'll only have to restart the app three times before it figures out that there really is an update. Lighting is also quite difficult to fit into the mouse, but a bit easier than updating and general use of the app. As the icing on the cake, my caster is now stopping working. I've had the mouse for about 4 months. When I move it in one direction, it bites or starts moving the page in the opposite direction. This is extra annoying in games where you scroll from the default view to the ADS with the scroll wheel, because in the middle of a skirmish you stay in the ADS and it takes three times longer to get out of that view, meanwhile you didn't see what happened around you at all and - death. ASUS makes good products. I can't praise my Zephyrus, it works perfectly (although it could have a more powerful and quieter cooling system, but it's thin&light and I can't ask much from it), but their software is really terrible. The wheel can probably be fixed somehow, but there's nothing the software can do about it. If you have nerves of iron and you plan to just set up the mouse and then never interfere with the software again, I might even recommend it, but if you are one of those who try something new every two days that the programming in the software allows them to do, then please avoid all ASUS peripherals in a BIG way.
