I do not recommend this product! In the description it is declared that more than one drive can be connected, but this is very misleading information, because it is not possible to simply plug the Molex/SATA power cable into the motherboard, because the corresponding place is hidden in the upper right part of the motherboard right behind the drive enclosure, which cannot be removed because it is screwed to the outside of the chassis with a few screws, and these are covered by the front plastic cable, which also cannot be removed (it is connected to the inside of the case with a cable and maybe some screws). The entire cabinet has a riveted shell except for one opening side wall. The official ASUS support could not advise how to connect more than one disk, the extra one plugs at the expense of the optical drive. ASUS can make user-friendly cases, but this one is the opposite of something like that. Purchased from Alza, they refunded me within 14 days.
This model has a very user-unfriendly cabinet. Due to the impossibility of getting to the appropriate place on the motherboard, it is not possible to connect more than one disk, and a single disk can only be connected at the cost of rewiring the power cable connected to the optical drive (and to rewire the data and power cable from the optical drive, you also have to cut the 2 plastic pull tabs on the cable bundles). The optical drive will subsequently be inoperable. Absolutely nonsensical wardrobe design.
CPU cooling is not very good, with a heavy CPU load (10 "yes" commands in Debian) the core temperature was around 65-75 degrees
In the UEFI/BIOS interface I didn't find an option to control fan speed or CPU frequency
In Debian 11 I was unable to configure cpufreq to set the desired kernel frequency (I haven't tried other tools).
The case fan does not run all the time, but only when the CPU temperature exceeds about 50 °C - cannot be influenced in UEFI/BIOS.
