Very solid and sturdy construction - reminiscent of older thinkpads. If you want a powerful machine primarily for the office (programming, compiling, virtualization) and you're not so concerned about battery life or a quality touchpad, this is the laptop for you. The touchpad disappointed me a lot, the upper part ok, the lower part of the unpleasant clicks even with minor tapping - maybe it was a defective piece but it looks more like a shlendrián on the part of Asus. Performance is fine, but it's not that noticeable a jump compared to my older laptop with an 11th generation Intel Core i7 (although various benchmarks show almost 40-50% better performance). RAM should be upgradable, which is also a plus. The battery life of the Core Ultra 125H processors is really not much, if this is what you're after, I'd recommend looking at AMD or the newer Intel processors instead. The display has a ratio of 4:3 which is fine for working with documents, the quality does not offend but also does not impress.
