It works properly as long as you have a compatible headset / jack. It is not mentioned anywhere in the description, but it seems that the adapter is only compatible with the TRRS type jack (ie three strip on the jack, more here https://www.cablechick.com). au / blog / understanding-trrs-and-audio-jacks /). I found out only after the purchase and a longer Google. So if you don' t have a TRRS type jack, either get a headset that is of this type or an adapter to convert your type of jack to a TRRS type.
works perfectly with the right headset, no background noise, even vocal music
Unfortunately, nowhere in the description is it mentioned that this adapter only accepts TRRS type jacks, the others will not work.
