The story of Assassin's Creed 2 will take place again in 2012 where we meet Desmond and his ancestors, whose memories Desmond returns through Animus. This time, the story moves a few hundred years back to the Renaissance period and we welcome a new hero, Ezio Auditore de Firenze, a young Italian noble who learns to become a master assassin.
