We are happy with the ice cream maker. What I appreciate the most is that we can have homemade ice cream ready in under an hour. We also like the homemade yoghurt it makes. The controls are simple and intuitive. It doesn't get in the way on the kitchen counter, as we use it so often now that it has its own spot. I also give it bonus points for being easy to clean. The only minor drawback is that after the preparation is finished, a small amount of ice cream remains frozen to the side of the bowl and is harder to remove. Overall, I am satisfied.
