This is what a well-designed and well-made product should look like. That is, except for the too low side walls, which fix the speaker into the bracket - if they were a centimeter higher, nothing would have happened at all. If you have speakers with a non-standard shaped cabinet or with a raised rounded bottom edge, or if you will be mounting larger and heavier speakers with the need to tilt forward, you will need to make a simple extension or use the option to screw the speaker box to the bracket with the supplied small screws. However, this leads to irreversible damage to the sides of the cabinets, so such a procedure will not be for everyone. Of course, there are more alternatives for fixing the speakers to the bracket, but you have to help yourself there. With the smaller Edifier R1280DBS loudspeakers, despite the rounded underside, I was able to get by with just the side panels - you just have to tighten them properly. Fortunately, that's not a problem.

Variability of rotation and tilt of loudspeakers.
Sufficiently massive and relatively long screws (approx. 60mm) and dowels in the package - for non-load-bearing walls in a prefabricated building, however, the screws may be too long and shorter ones should be used.
In the case of suitably shaped loudspeakers, a strong tightening of the side walls is sufficient to fix the cabinet (without the need to fix the loudspeaker with screws into the side walls).
Low enough sides to fix the speakers, especially if they have a rounded bottom edge, unusual shape or are tilted downwards even with the base.
Optional fixation with screws into the side walls of the loudspeakers is only for hardened minds, especially if high quality and more expensive loudspeakers are installed.

I really enjoy reading reviews about mounting material. So the included 8mm diameter dowels are suitable for concrete or solid brick, for the rest you better use another one. However, the size is sufficient. You really don't need 12 as someone wrote here. Unless you are going to make a seat out of the repro😁 The cover fits as it should, not as it says below. You mustn't have walls like a medieval fortress. The screws are 5mm diameter and the length easily exceeds the length of standard 8mm dowels (40mm). Simply put, who is not a hoof and the mounts will really only be for the speakers, the mounting set must be enough for him (max use another dowel of the same diameter)

This is a holder in a good price range used on a MAGNAT 202 speaker. Its mounting is simple and well designed tightening of the bottom of the speaker.
But it has one drawback. The bottom of the speaker box tightens, but the actual fit is disastrous. Although the manufacturer included screws for fixing, I will certainly not drill screws into the MAGNAT speaker to fix them. In the package instead of screws into the speaker box there should be clamping straps because the bracket is ready for them.
So if someone buys this good holder, they need to buy the straps for it.

No need to drill into the repro
I think some have written that the mounting material (dowels and screws) is insufficient, but I think it's overkill and will hold the claimed weight just fine.
Used on Magnat Monitor Supreme 102 rear speakers
There wasn't much choice and probably the only such holder on alza
Unfortunately I didn't find any groove on the bracket to hide the cable, maybe it would go through that back hole but I wouldn't have pushed the plastic cap over the cable anymore.
