After leg amputation, the kitten had a very problematic wound that would not heal (corridors, wetting, bleeding scab). All preparations and advice from the veto (Alaptid, Panazym Creme, Vetramil...) led nowhere. Dragon's blood and Anigran gel didn't work either. In desperation I scoured the internet from the bottom to the top and came across a foreign article about healing with spruce resin. This led me to Repolar Abilar Vet ointment and Aptus Amber Rinse. The ointment was a fiasco, but the Aptus solution soothed the wound and gradually healed it. A callous has formed and the hair is slowly coming back. If you're dealing with a nasty, gaping wound that can't be dressed, Aptus solution is the only functional must-have option in my opinion.
