I upgraded from the indestructible Gen 2. They still worked, but they’d had their day. Pretty much everything is brilliant. The sound is simply exceptional for wireless headphones. Personally, they fit in my ears almost perfectly. One of the few headphones that I can wear for X hours straight without it being uncomfortable. I'm just not a huge fan of the new controls on the headphones, but that might get better with time. On top of that, the price is reasonable, especially for an Apple product.

I've had the Airpods Gen 2 for the last 3 years and I never thought I'd replace them, but for the last half a year the left earbud has been dying after 30 minutes and a repair didn't make sense.
