UPS purchased for NAS (Synology 923+). They communicate very well - when the battery is low or the UPS is without power for a defined period of time, the UPS switches itself on after the power is restored and starts the NASka via wake on power. Connectedness.
The UPS was delivered to me a day later than promised and therefore during a (planned) power outage. I don't know how much it was charged from the factory, I plugged in a modem + router and it managed to power for 2 hours (and I worked /home office/ on my laptop from my own flashlight), for me super.
Others mention the smell, I didn't notice. It's a bit grumpy for that (the transformer? ), nothing terrible, but you can hear it in the silence. Not recommended for the bedroom/living room.
I haven't gotten to the configuration software from the laptop yet to see what can be set there, I'm only reading the status information to Home Assistant via the NUT protocol.
When the power goes out, it beeps 4 times every 30 sec, which can be cancelled by holding the power button for 1s, but the next time it beeps again. Hopefully it can be adjusted in the configuration.

After connecting via USB cable, it communicates with Synology DS118 NAS perfectly fine, you can set the safe shutdown of the NAS before the UPS runs out.
Only the French manual was included, which resulted in one of my unnecessary claims of a "non-functioning" UPS. The other was also "non-functional" until I found out that the connector on the back, marked Battery connector is not for the external battery, but that it is a battery disconnector for transport. It needs to be slid out and tucked into the socket underneath.
It is possible to download the Czech manual from the manufacturer, but it is for many types and some descriptions are not functional for this type, like dimming the LED strip light.
As others have written, there is quite a bit of "electronic" smell after commissioning - it will probably disappear with heat over time.
