Apart from the price, I can't say anything positive about this product, it's poor quality.
After about half a year, the disk started showing signs of bad partition sectors. Now after a year and a half. It has over 200 sectors that are in "bad" shape according to DiskGenius and several are damaged. Compared to other drives I have for a similar or even lower price a disaster. If you're getting a PC and want a ssd, you'd better pay extra and buy a 1tb NVMe. If you do not care so much about speed and HDD is enough for you, Seagate Barracuda is even after several years of use according to disk genius 87% excellent condition and the remaining 13% of the partitions in good shape.
It just couldn't reformat to GPT (probably a bug with me), I had to do it via the diskpart tool in the command line. And it also came down to run in a SATA to USB A reduction but I tried another reduction and it was already running, so if you want to use it as an external so be careful what reduction you choose, one didn't work for me and the other did (both SATA to USB A).
