At the default 65W TDP setting, it seems to be comfortably tunable and will be enough for many people. 105 W see above, air cooler or cheap water cooler probably won't be enough. A lot of people lower the temperature with a curve optimizer or PBO (or larger water cooler). With varying results.
You can choose between TDP 65 W (default) and 105 W. The 105 W option is still stock setting within the manufacturer's warranty, not overclocking. At 105 W, the PPT is 142 W (the maximum possible actual power consumption), yet apparently no 2x120 air cooler can keep it below TJmax = 95 °C at maximum load (I don't know how the 2x140s are doing). I judge so according to reviews and from my own experience with Pure Rock Pro 3 (2x tower, 2x 120mm fan, 6x heatpipe). I don't understand what's going on here. However, AMD claims that AM5 processors are designed to run at 95°C 24x7. I'll try Phantom Spirit, but I don't think there will be a breakthrough, at most a slight increase in performance. I'm not buying the NH-D15 G2 for the gentleman.
