Tested with 2x USB-C chargers (Samsung 45W, UGREEN 30W) and 3 different "USB-C - USB-C" cables - all E-Mark 5A. If you use a USB-A charger (Samsung 15W) with a USB-A -> USB-C cable, the reduction works and charges.
If I tried a USB-C charger with a 5A USB-C cable, immediately after connecting the reducer the charger output is switched off - without connecting another device (Power-Z KM003C).
Tested also with cable code:VENTaj8, which charges OK via USB-C -> micro-USB, but when trying to USB-C - USB-C + this reduction to micro-USB the charger shuts down. After removing this reduction, the reduction on the cable can be used without further problems. Zaver:
It will go to the electrical waste because I wanted this reduction as a backup to VENTaj8, but apparently it works only under certain conditions. Remark:
I don't have a USB-C - USB-C 3A cable (without E-Mark), so I don't know if the reduction would work with a "regular" USB-C cable. However, I have all USB-C cables 5A (I expect EPR in the future) so I don't have this option and I won't try it.

I bought it so I don't have to pull two cables, since my headphones and powerbank have a micro, for this purpose I can recommend it, I don't know if it can charge even faster than the usual data transfer
