The truth is that I bought the charger about 6 years ago, it's not new. So far it has worked without any problems. But that's no excuse to be dangerous. The child plugged in her Honor Pad X8a tablet - new purchased here. The tablet is OK, the charger started smoking. But this charger declares 10W power. On the HonorPad X8a box, the minimum power of the charger is 5-10W. So as a consumer, I don't see the problem. I am attaching a photo of the already deforming charger before it catches fire and a description on the back of the box of the attached tablet.
